The Best Western International, Inc. website allows you to search and book more than 4,100 independently owned and operated Best Western hotels worldwide. Best Western International, Inc. (“Best Western”) does not own, manage, or operate any Best Western hotels, nor is it responsible for the operation of hotel rooms, nor is it part of any hotel reservation contract, nor does it collect and/or remit occupancy taxes or similar to any tax authority. We offer two (2) types of reservations through our website and telephone booking system. The first type allows you to book a room at the hotel’s published rates. We will forward the reservation details to the hotel, and you must pay directly at the hotel upon checkout. This payment covers not only the room rate but also certain taxes and fees. If in doubt regarding applicable taxes and fees, please contact the hotel before booking.
For the second type of reservation, once you agree to pay for the room in advance, we send the reservation details to the hotel, and the hotel charges the reservation upfront. For prepaid reservations, the hotel may also charge additional taxes and fees upfront or at checkout. If in doubt regarding these taxes and fees or the timing of the charges, please contact the hotel before booking.
The amount shown under “Taxes and Fees” is the estimated total that the hotel will charge on your bill for taxes, government fees, and other charges. This amount is based on information provided by the hotel. Best Western does not guarantee the accuracy of the amount shown. Please note that the hotel may also apply charges for other items not included in the rate or taxes, such as resort fees, parking fees, or other possible charges (e.g., minibar).
